- The school was wonderfully integrated into the local community....
- The variety of local sight-seeing day trips which were not expensive.
- Walking daily through the Sorrento shopping centre. Italian Jewry & clothing / fashion shops. Lots of window shopping.
- The local ice-cream shops...
I would like to thank Sorrento Lingue for a fantastic month of school. All of the teachers were very good. They taught in a thoughtful way with a combination of grammar and conversation. They had patience with us students and helped us use the new things we learned every day

I came to Sorrento two years ago and fell in love. When I first arrived I did not speak or understand one word of Italian. I was lucky to have very special teachers and today I am fluent. At Sorrento Lingue I meet people from all over the world and have gained many friends. I can not express what a great experience studying at Sorrento Lingue has been for me.

Sorrento Lingue is a wonderful academy; prior to arriving in Italy, I had an exceptional Italian teacher, and naturally, I came having very high standards. Thus far, I have been nothing but impressed with the staff's affability and general dedication to their jobs and the prospect of learning... which includes the scheduled daily cultural activities. While this is my first experience living abroad and studying at an international language academy, I can still sense greatness and I know that I am lucky to be here!

One often returns to a particular place for so many reasons, often difficult to describe. The dynamics of Sorrento Lingue- teaching, staff, students from all over the world, places to visit- are so difficult to describe in such a way to fully appreciate them. One comes to SL to learn Italian, but leaves with so much more- a brand new perspective about people from other parts of the world, more understanding of other cultures and beliefs, and most of all with a new perspective of oneself in relative to the other.

We had a great week at the Sorrento school last week. Our individual teachers, Luana and Nunzia were very good, we worked hard but also had some fun! All the girls working at the school made us very welcome and there were a number of extra activities which we enjoyed as well. It was probably the best school we have been to so far!!!
