I think Sorrento Lingue is a very good language school which custom makes programmes to suit the students. Teaching was always comprehensible, very clear speakers, but challenging too, but never to the point that I couldn’t follow. Staff members and tutor are bright, friendly, capable. Communication before andduring the course was efficient and easy.  In terms of making the most of daily life and leisure in Sorrento there could not be a better time than summer to be there. I swam most days at the free beach a stone’s throw from the school or went to Meta beach on the bus nearby or to Positano.

My experience at Sorrento Lingue has been unforgettable. I arrived iin January and stayed until June with a host-family in the nearby village of Piano di Sorrento. Through the family I was able to meet many of their friends and indulge in the spectacular local cuisine.

- Excellent teachers....with beautiful articulation of the spoken language.
- The school was wonderfully integrated into the local community....
- Irrespective of the tourist dollar, the locals were very respectful of the students, and encouraging with speaking and listening practise.
- I felt very safe
- Having the option of being on your own in a studio and doing your own cooking, shared accommodation with other students , or boarding with a family.
- The variety of local sight-seeing day trips which were not expensive.
- Walking daily through the Sorrento shopping centre. Italian Jewry & clothing / fashion shops. Lots of window shopping.
- The local ice-cream shops...

I would like to thank Sorrento Lingue for a fantastic month of school. All of the teachers were very good. They taught in a thoughtful way with a combination of grammar and conversation. They had patience with us students and helped us use the new things we learned every day

We very much enjoyed our stay (all too short) in Sorrento; your friendly and helpful presence helped to make it a very memorable event for us. We are very impressed with the service Sorrento Lingue provides for the students. With many thanks, and hopes that if we are fortunate enough to come again to Sorrento we may renew our acquaintance

AkikoI came to Sorrento two years ago and fell in love. When I first arrived I did not speak or understand one word of Italian. I was lucky to have very special teachers and today I am fluent. At Sorrento Lingue I meet people from all over the world and have gained many friends. I can not express what a great experience studying at Sorrento Lingue has been for me.

MariaSorrento Lingue is a wonderful academy; prior to arriving in Italy, I had an exceptional Italian teacher, and naturally, I came having very high standards. Thus far, I have been nothing but impressed with the staff's affability and general dedication to their jobs and the prospect of learning... which includes the scheduled daily cultural activities. While this is my first experience living abroad and studying at an international language academy, I can still sense greatness and I know that I am lucky to be here!

SalvatoreOne often returns to a particular place for so many reasons, often difficult to describe. The dynamics of Sorrento Lingue- teaching, staff, students from all over the world, places to visit- are so difficult to describe in such a way to fully appreciate them. One comes to SL to learn Italian, but leaves with so much more- a brand new perspective about people from other parts of the world, more understanding of other cultures and beliefs, and most of all with a new perspective of oneself in relative to the other.
Salvatore, 4year returning student NY, USA

We had a great week at the Sorrento school last week. Our individual teachers, Luana and Nunzia were very good, we worked hard but also had some fun! All the girls working at the school made us very welcome and there were a number of extra activities which we enjoyed as well. It was probably the best school we have been to so far!!!
