Short - Term programs
SUMMER
Sorrento Lingue organizes summer programs for American Universities (5 weeks), focused on Italian language and characterizing elements of our culture.
The courses are taught in English, except for those ones of Italian language. University credits transferred through a SUNY college (New York State).
6 CREDITS Summer Program 2011
5 weeks, May 30-July 4, 2011
- Accommodation: shared apartments for 5 weeks
- Apartments are equipped with double bedrooms, bathroom and cooking facilities.
- All the apartments are located in the centre of Sorrento within walking distance from the school.
- Single rooms may be requested for an additional fee but are very limited in availability and cannot be guaranteed. Meals and laundry are not included.
- Apartments will be furnished, and most linens and kitchenware will be provided.
- A refundable deposit of 50€ per person will be required in case of damages in the apartment
The program includes:
- Italian course (45 contact hrs - 3 credits)

1 Elective course to choose between:
International History: Western Civilization since 1500 (45 contact hrs - 3 credits)
Globalization and the new protagonists (45 contact hrs - 3 credits)
- 4 Excursions (outdoor visits)
